Dr John Soo Fook Yum (Medical Practitioner)

Dr Soo has been in clinical practice since 2001. Graduating from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in England he had done 1 year of Housemanship in England and is registered with the General Medical Council. Subsequently, Dr Soo had come to Singapore to train as a Medical Officer in Alexander Hospital as well as Tan Tock Seng and NUH.

The areas that was covered included General Medicine, Accident and Emergecy and Critical Care. He had also done 2 years in polyclinic work both in Toa Payoh and Ang Mo Kio.

Seeing that he had a passion for both the variety of work that is available, he moved on to A&E work in Mount Elizabeth Hospital. This allowed him to be in contact with patients from an international setting. Alongside this was the avenue to do medical evacuation work. An enjoyable time both in traveling and providing medical care to most undoubtedly high net worth individuals which included Minister of States of various regional countries as well as prominent businessmen in the South East Asian region.

Eventually Dr Soo took over a clinic in Takashimaya which was in 2010 where the clinic has been located for the last 15 years. We see both private individuals as well as corporate clients which include the high street retailers and their staff. Their management teams and directors. We provide medical service, as well as anti-aging medicine. Dr Soo is currently sub specializing in the area of anti-aging. Which is a fast growing industry here in Singapore.

He is also in the process of a fellowship examination with the A5M of Australia which looks into the area of anti-aging.
